I have been doing similar puzzles for a while now. This one was a mess. The pieces were not consolidated and I had to search for multiples of pieces on all the sheets. I understand the need to save space to have the least amount of waste, but it was frustrating to search through 7 sheets every single step.
The instructions for the music box unit were not very clear. There is a spring, I promise it’s in there cuz I didn’t find it till it was too late, that’s required early on when putting together the music box before them assembling the box into the build. I think this may be the cause of the big issue I’m having (maybe not, can’t be sure). When I finished the entire build, the carousel part will not turn. The base turns, the music plays, but the horses do not move. It CAN, I can turn it with my hand, but it is not turning as it should be with the music box playing and gears moving pieces.
This unit is not really any harder to assemble than others I’ve done. There is a good amount of splintering that needs to be sanded. But with the issues I had with the overall completed puzzle, I don’t think I’d get one for anyone I know.

This is actually a wooden model with pottery terrible instructions. It’s not kid friendly simply because it’s fragile.
The tolerances are too wide and it doesn’t want to turn easily using the music box; we ended up using some plasti-dip to smooth out and reduce friction on a few parts and it still doesn’t work very well.
It’s a fun use of an hour, but don’t expect it to work.
