Es handelt sich hier um keine Architekten Qualität. Das Einstecken der einzelnen Teile gestaltet sich mühsam und eine Stabilität ist schwer zu erreichen. Einige Teile (Wände) sind zu knapp bemessen. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier nicht.

I’m using this kit in my Architectural Design class with high school juniors and seniors. The same group of students have designed and built multiple structures. They have yet to lose interest. As previous reviewers have stated, this is not a kit for young children. I have done model building with middle school students (not this kit) and some have the patience for a kit such as this, but others will give up.

It would have been nice if the kit manufacturer included scale with English metric conversions shown on the base sheets.

My soon to be 12 yr old aspiring architect loves it. She uses Home Design 3D to create floorplans and then builds them with arckit. Even my 7 yr old is helping build houses. Great buy!

These are very cool kits, but to do anything fairly complicated or large scale, you need multiple kits. The kits are somewhat limited in that you have to stick with the grid system that they designed. The roof pitches are fixed. The curved and angled peices are fixed. Overall I think these are priced too high which is limiting their success. They are made in Ireland which probably drives up the price, but it is just a bunch of plastic. This big kit costs $300, but should really be half that. I don’t know of anything on the market like this, so they offer something unique. It is fun to build stuff and layout floor plans, but it wont give you a precise model because of the limitations. You could do something similar with legos but it wouldn’t be as polished as this. Overall, I think it’s good.
