Its a very nice metal model, has a lot of heft to it and is very detailed, my dad loved it. This is not a toy so don’t get this for small children as it is a delicate item.

This replica of the B17g is solid. Agree with other reviewers, the weight is substantial which feels great in your hand (yes we mock-fly it around the room). The details are fantastic. Younger kids will likely end up snapping off propellers, the rear wheel and the guns that protrude from all sides of the plane. No big deal, the rest of the plane is solid as a rock. Super fun.

My husband is a HUGE fighter plane fan and my 8 year old grandson was intrigued so my husband purchased a series of these heavy metal planes with stands. 8 year is thrilled and they have spent hours discussing each of them in great detail. One thing I will say is the plastic stands are kind of crap. Husband made some that work.

When I ordered, I was expecting it would be quite a bit larger for the price. I wanted a nice display piece for my office, and ended up being just a really nice toy… 🙁

My kids are plane nuts. Actually, my 8yo son is a plane nut and my 5yo daughter tries to keep pace. I bought said daughter this plane, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. It’s stunning, my favorite of their collection. The plane has a nice weight to it, it’s cool as all getout.
That said, all that heft doesn’t extend to the propellers. My daughter broke one, yielding a hissy fit. I held my ground and didn’t buy her a second one, but I was on the fence in doing so. This isn’t sturdy enough to be a plaything for kids, but it is suitably awesome to be a great plaything for you when no one else is looking.

Love the B-17 Postage Stamp. Unfortunately, it is still in my front seat of my car. Why? Because I was in bad aut accident on Feb 3,2020. I had odered several other units but could not pick up at Amazon Hub Locker. Denied Amazon Hub Locker ordering which out of my control. No driving for several weeks until I get rid of horse collar for my neck injury. Under normal circumstances I would totally agree with the decision. Reconsiderstion would be appreciated. Look forward to your response.

Great mini replica, good details, decent weight and overall a beautiful piece. Only issue is the tiny parts/attachments that are plastic came off when hubby took it out of the packaging. Manufacturer needs to secure these a little better.
