Very impressed with this company…I did run into an issue with this kit…contacted them and done…their follow up and action was prompt and excellent!!!!! Would order again

  2. Amazon Customer

Lots of colors to work with

  3. bailey

He loved it. I will say you have to hurry and apply the Plato stuff. It dries very fast!!

  4. Alex & Dawn

The clay included with my child’s toy was goopy, sticky, and messy. The skeletons are nice. We’ll have to order clay separately. I’m unable to return the item because my kiddo opened the packages and started assembling one of the dinos. Returns are no longer free. I now must return packages physically if I don’t want to pay a fee. Not happy with this purchase or Amazon’s new shipping changes.

This was a very neat Easter Gift.
My Grandson really liked it and enjoyed creating using the Foam type modeling doh. That being said the Foam doh comes in plastic None resealable bags, so you open them the doh is exposed to the air. My Grandson loved the feel of the doh and modled it around the dinosaur skeletons as shown on box…they also had plastic stone stands for displaying your creations.
The only real issue is..Once the Doh drys it is like a hard stiff substance. Which is great if you create your models and put them on display.
We tried to reseal the left over foam doh in a air tight dish but On day 3 I said to my Grandson lets just make creatures with what was left. There is No saving to reuse.
Still given 5 stars because my Grandson loved it and He has his own ornaments for his room and I have little creations all through my house such as A Caterpillar and butterfly and other things. Its a win win…just wish it came with air tight dishes or lasted longer!

It does work but the clay is so sticky it’s harder for the kids, we made one but with a lot of adult help, they dry hard.

I bought this for a nephew who loves Dinos. My intention was to play with him, however the clay was the consistency of cake frosting. You need to use the tools to make it “spreadable.” It is very messy and has a high level of frustration if your kid is not one that will keep working.
The clay stays wet for about 30 minutes, then it turns into something that resembles stiff glue/slime. It seems homemade. Some of the colors arrived half dry as well because their were tiny holes in the packaging. Good thing its only $15 bucks. It’s a bit disposable.

Fun idea but not for littles. The clay is very sticky. It stuck to the wrapper getting it out and to our hands. Some colors were worse than others. The black was so sticky it had to be thrown away. The best way to use it is to scrape or paint it on with a tool. I think this method is too difficult for kids under 7-8.

I’m so disappointed right now. I ordered 3 boxes so that I would have 12 for my sons bday party. I’ve had them for a couple weeks but it’s a busy time work wise and just opened it up tonight to try and organize things for his birthday. The skeletons are a nice size and aren’t flimsy or easily breakable, but they are malformed and misshapen, so much that they don’t even stand up at all. The clay seems typical of air clay, though the portions seem a little small for the frames- but I anticipated that and bought extra air clay for the activity but I don’t even think I can use them. The stands are thin plastic, the feet don’t fit into and they offer not support to actually act as a stand for the Dino. At this point I feel I am out of a birthday that my son and I were really excited about…

My grandson loves dinosaurs and clay, an awesome gift

  11. Amazon Customer

    Gift for grandson.

I loved the concept of placing clay over a dinosaur skeleton and I thought my daughter’s dinosaur-loving 6year old twins would love it. Their eyes did light up when they saw their presents, but it didn’t last when they tried to put the clay on the skeleton. The clay stuck to their fingers and everything else and was very hard to apply to the frame. When it dries it is easy to remove from what it touches but to mold into something it was impossible to work with.
