I see a lot of people posting 1 star reviews for these models since they give them to their kids and its to difficult. THIS IS NOT FOR KIDS! All metal earth models are highly detailed and a lot of fun for those who like to sit down, listen to music/background noise, and enter a “flow state” of pure focus. Overall, this model came out great! the roof was a PAIN IN THE NECK to get right, but through patience I got it looking perfect.
I also love the metal earth sets where you can clip out the description of the model and fold it into a stand. makes it look like Im at a museum and can read a bit about the model as Im looking at it.
Recommended tools: Latex gloves for handling, thin point tweezers, thin point needle nose pilers, small flat head screw drivers, a focused mind, and no coffee in your system! (to prevent shaky hands!)

I’ve done a bunch of these now, and this one is my favorite. The detail is amazing, and the gold is beautiful. It was challenging for a semi-novice, without being frustrating, though the right tools really help. The finished product is really lovely.

I am completely addicted to the Metal Earth models. They are very detailed, look great, and are generally really well-designed. The stainless steel sheets are the perfect strength and thickness — they are sturdy, and slightly forgiving of mistakes, but easy to work with. This one has some interesting and mildly challenging curved pieces.
They rate this as one of the most challenging, but I found it relatively easy compared to some of the others which were rated as ‘moderately’ challenging. That said, I’ve done over a dozen of these, and I would not recommend starting with this one unless you are very confident in your model-building skills.
A magnifier, jeweler’s pliers, a strong pair of tweezers, and a wire cutter are essential tools for building these.

Not the easiest one to assemble, should be for more advance builder.

They did a WONDERFUL job with labeling everything. Each piece is labeled on the instructions with its number and what sheet it’s on. They also have the pieces in the sheet diagrams color coded if there are multiple pieces of the same number. There a lot of TINY pieces, but they give you TONS extra of the tiny pieces, which is great because I’m prone to dropping them. Definitely need tweezers for this one, but I use them on all of the ones I do.
One downside is their labeling on parts where there’s like five insertion points in a row. It’s hard to see which one it should go in.

Ok, i had to use tweezers, but the packaging does say it’s more advanced, so it’s not exactly for beginners. But it looks gorgeous put together. I love these so much.

This one was a little harder because of all the tiny pieces but they give you MORE than enough in case you break or drop some. The gold pieces are a bit thinner but its not that bad. Just be careful when bending them. Another one to add to my puzzle collection.

Came from wooden 3d puzzle, knowing it would be abit more difficult but for this particular piece, it is fairly easy. I spent 4hr sitting to finish it, my 2nd metal piece i built after the golden budha temple ( that one took 3hr to finish)
Pros-
Very detail engravings on door panels and roofings. Nice 2 tone colors.
Cons-
a few of small tabs n inserts, especially for inner sections and door panels. If you have shaky hands or cant see well, probably best to avoid this one and try a different one. 2 long piece golden arch decorations for the roof perimenter seems to be very very tight fit, i had to use alot of force to get those into the tabs.
The instruction is very clear, i understand it fully by looking at it. If you have problems following the instruction, my advice is, take a step back, look at the instruction again and the legend codes, otherwise if you make a few wrong pieces and try to go back, it will be very difficult to fix those pieces once they r in place.
Overall, metal pieces are much more challenging than the 3d wooden puzzle pieces due to the small pieces they present. So if come from 3d wooden puzzle building, you will find metal 3d puzzle building alot more fun.
