  1. True Crime Genre Fanatic

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. He was thrilled with the ship itself and especially the detail.

  2. Richard A. Englund

I have several model ships in my collection this is head and shoulders above the rest in beauty.

  3. Frank

The masts and sails are terrific!! Then you get down to the ship exterior and it becomes a crap-shoot! The paint work/detail is purely ammature/shoddy. There is obvious traces where the “painter” (I use that term loosely) attempted to clean white off black with paint thinner and it looks like a mess. There is a huge glob of white paint on one of the STAINED oars. But the WORST part is the ship was in a “jig” or vice that ran from stem to stern…..down the full length of the ship. The bottom was stained and lacquer applied… ACCEPT the 1/2 inch that was in the vice. In other words, they stained the bottom, took the ship out of the vice and didn’t bother to stain the portion that was protected/covered by the vice! Pathetic!!! Imagine you are holding a piece of wood in your hand and you paint the exposed part, but then don’t paint the portion covered by your hand! Are you kidding me? I paid $1,000 for this? And don’t get me started on the crappy display stand. They did the same thing…painted 95% of the exposed wood.

  4. Amazon Customer

Detailed and slick looking model ship. I paid $230 about for it. 32″ length includes the sails of course.

  5. Jester

Arrived in very good shape !

  6. Christine L.
