Disappointed at the way the pieces fit together. Expect better from Hasegawa. Use to be better.

This is perhaps the worst product I have ever purchased from anywhere. First of all it took about two weeks to get it. When I received it the product box had been opened and the plastic bag holding the model pa
rts had been opened. The box looked like it was in someone’s garage for a few years. The model box had a price tag of $1.39 (which is about what it was worth). The model itself must be all of 25 parts, I hope they are all here. I give this no stars because it is absolutely worthless.
I decided to go ahead and assemble this but as I did I realized parts were missing. This has not helped to improve my evaluation.

Everything was received in good condition. All the parts, decals, and instructions were in the kit and sealed ready to go. 1/72 is a very small scale, so there aren’t many parts to this kit. Detail is lacking and probably more apparent to me as I flew this aircraft in the Army. It is an annoyance, but not a show-stopper as it is not uncommon to spot detail issues with any company’s models at any scale.
Another issue is that most of the parts needed fitment. There was a lot of excess plastic that required filing and a few spots on larger pieces that required filling. Personally, I find this sort of thing therapeutic, but if you don’t, the amount of trimming and fitting will bother you.
Overall, a decent kit wit many options for finishing.
