So I bought this box set thinking “This will be a great way to start Bolt Action in 1/72 scale!” However upon opening the box had a few odd and unpleasant surprises.. Firstly, the packaging pictures are a lie. They show that the miniatures all have nickel sized bases however upon opening the box there are no bases.. Secondly, the box again states “BATTLE of ARRAS: 1940” Key word being 1940… However in the box you will find germans with MG42s, and panzerschreks, and british PIATs and weapons with banana magazines.. At first glance I thought oh its a STEN gun but nope. Pretty frustrating that the ITAERLI casters did not do their homework.. The only good thing I can say about this set is that the casts I received were very crisp and their is a very high detail. Just a shame the accuracy in weapons is lacking for someone like me who wanted early war only.
