In looking at the model it certainly appears to be a very nice representation of the AC-130 Gunship.
Husband looking forward to building this “memory” of military service. Have to to say that packing of the kit was disappointing. Shipping box arrived crushed on one end to the point of completely puncturing the shipping box and further crushing the kit box itself. Kit parts themselves initially appear to be undamaged. but perhaps more sturdy packing materials would be appropriate. Some of these carriers just don’t seem to care. Other than this, appears to a winner.

Just started putting this aircraft together. Once its finished, it will be a nice model to display. I expect it will take 40 to 60 hours to complete. Italeri puts out some nice models! Glad it was available.

It’s a great model, but it’s not accurate. As a model builder for years, I hate it when something is not accurate to the last detail.
