Overall we liked it but very difficult to follow the instructions and assemble the peices are TINY!

Any sonic and Lego lover will love this . The only thing I will say is the pieces of Lego are really small and once built the figure is small

In fairness to this seller, it is called micro blocks… But for $12 this is so very small. Well below the size of a normal Lego. Based on that I would give it one star, But, as I said, perhaps I should have been more careful in reading the description before purchasing so I’m allowing it two more stars to cover my own stupidity. You, on the other hand, have been warned: this is very small. If you would like your child to play with this, versus eat it or lose it, find another product.

The parts are small hence NANO in title and take patience to put together.
I would not give this to a child below 10 unless they are very detailed orientated.

This was a bit harder than the Tails and Eggman figures, not because of the build itself, which is great, but because of the instructions. Sonic is made of dark blue bricks that make it hard to see the black outlines on the instructions, and the instruction pictures are very small. I ended up having to set a rectangular white LED flashlight on the sheet just to light everything up enough to see what I was supposed to do, and some of the rounded pieces are hard to tell from their squared versions due to the darkness. I wish they had either lightened up the blue on the drawing or used a different color for the outlines and frankly I’m dreading what Shadow will be like to build.
That said, once I got the lighting situation solved, this was a great build. My favorite thing about Nanoblock kits is how much detail comes out of the small scale, especially once the light hits it just right. Some parts are a bit fragile, such as his big hand which is attached by a single stud, so this is strictly a display piece rather than anything to play with but it’s designed with that in mind. Sonic’s pose has a lot of character and it’s a good likeness. The end result is very cute and he looks great next to the others.

Instructions are terrible, and blocks are poor quality and absolutely tiny. Bought my daughter this for her birthday but it is totally impossible for an adult to do, let alone a child. I did manage to make the thing, as to not disappoint my daughter but it was not enjoyable and it is very flimsy and would easily fall to pieces. If you like lego do not buy this, go to the lego shop and buy some lego!

As per other reviews, the pieces are tiny, which also makes it difficult to make. Instructions aren’t as easy as other brick based brands, and is too fragile to use as a toy, more an ornament.
My 7year old son was happy on building with help, but slightly disappointed he couldn’t play with it without it breaking. Maybe needs kragle

Again, it is an absolute pain to build. It took my 10 year old around 6 hours for full assembly. Other than that, it is a great gift for everyone. Very giftable. You can also see how small it is compared to a 10-year old’s hand.

I bought this for my lego / Sonic mad son and although he can complete lego sets easily, this was incredibly fiddley and the pieces really are tiny. I mean, “nano”block is no exaggeration. Looks great when it’s assembled but you need the patience of a saint and a very steady hand to complete this.
