I have several of the Pegasus Hobbies gothic building sets and use them in Warhammer 40k and they work great. Best part is that they are interchangeable so you can mix up the sets and make larger buildings.

Solid quality plastic. Comes already cut from the sprue, but a decent amount of clean up is required. Expect to clamp some parts to keep things flush when gluing. All in all a good value for a building with a good size footprint on a game table.

It can look just like what’s displayed on the box, or you can decide how detailed you want the model to be. Personally, for the use I had in mind, I only used 4 of the flying buttresses. Comes with no roof, FYI. If you want one, train hobby roof sheets work in a pinch.

This is a good modular kit that introduces a couple of needed options over the basic “large” kit (that one is really just walls and a door).
    1)A two-section wide roof line
    2) Column caps
    3) Archways & columns.

The column caps are suitably gothic.

The arch ways are nice, but one end is fixed to a column and you slot the other end into another piece. The arches are not separate. So, you can’t really use them for interior arches other than as part of an interior colonnade that ran down both sides and didn’t connect in the middle.

The roof section is nice, but the angle doesn’t line up well. The angle ends up leave a bit of gap between the wall and where a sheet of styrene would end. The columns that hold the middle together also present a pain to notch around or you need to do something else.

Good kit, not great. If you’re just looking for a modular building to re arrange, it’s fine. If you’re looking for a more permanent structure, the roof needs some thinking about.

My husband plays Warhammer 40K, and I got this for his gaming table as scenery. He LOVES it. It’s the perfect size for 28mm figures. It snaps together easily for quick setup and breakdown. The pieces are not flimsy, and travel well. It can be primed and painted to fit whatever scenery scheme you need.
These sets from Pegasus are now my husband’s favorite pieces for Warhammer gaming. They’re not cheap, but you get what you pay for with this type of stuff. I also bought a different, less expensive brand of laser cut scenery pieces, and they were much lower in quality and detail, not to mention, they weren’t the right scale for 28mm 40K figures, despite what the listing said.

Stick with Pegasus scenery. It’s worth it. *Some of their items would even work for a mini fairy garden. Could be very pretty if painted the right color. Add little vines and flowers and no one would ever guess it was designed for war gaming,

These models work very well for 40k game play. Easy to assemble, paints up very well, and half the price of comparable Games Workshop terrain. I am very happy with my purchase.

The Pegasus line was my first venture into miniature buildings, and I was hesitant. Wasn’t sure what to expect. When this item arrived, I was sold. The pieces feel durable and defined. Instructions are sparse, but I think this is because the modular quality allows you to ignore their directions and build a different setup. Big fan.

This is an awesome set. The only reason I gave it 4 stars, instead of 5, was due to lack of documentation. The quality is great, and once you figure out (on your own) which pieces go where and how to put them all together, you’ll be very pleased with the end result. These are perfect scale for 28mm WarGames such as Warhammer 40k. For the price, I’d definitely recommend them. Be sure you have a blade, snips, and some glue. Some pieces are still on sprues and some of the pieces also have some stragglers from manufacturing.
