This airbrush is trash. Run away, run far away. Not just this compressor–PointZero makes a ton of airbrush supplies, and now I’d question the quality across the board. This was ridiculous and frustrating.
Was all excited to start airbrushing for the first time in my life. Got all the paints & cleaner out, watched tons of videos, got a high-quality beginner airbrush, hooked up the compressor, and YAY I did my first test sprays, then the compressor gave a “click” after about one minute (not an exaggeration), and that was that.
“Oh, but maybe it overheated?” LOL okay, going along with that, I let it sit for three hours unplugged, plugged it back in again and…still nothing. “Oh, but maybe it was ‘bad voltage’?” Again LOL but okay, going along with that, I tried it on multiple outlets on multiple circuits in the house, still dead.
To its credit, the compressor *is* easy to use (just a button push, no other adjustments), and it *did* work like a champ for a whole minute.
I was going to spend a good chunk of my Memorial Day doing airbrushing of figures and a model plane. Instead, I’m spending time doing a return *and* trying to clean my airbrush for the first time with no compressed air. Do you know how easy it is to find instructions on cleaning an airbrush without air? You can’t. There, now you know. Everything I found uses a compressor for part of the cleaning. So I’m disassembling the airbrush and carefully cleaning every component. That is how I’m spending my Memorial Day. If this is your idea of a good time, you should buy this compressor.
This is the PERFECT airbrush compressor for you if you need compressed air for only one minute, and no more, ever.
