Realmente funciona y mantiene mis pinturas frescas el doble cuando no tienen tapa y con tapa aún más, pero pueden llegar a hacerse más líquidas de lo normal, si lo dejas mucho tiempo le puede salir hongo en la esponja

If you’re reading this then you already know why you need a wet palette. I will say that this was a huge upgrade over my homemade one, and definitely cuts down on the time needed to prepare for a painting session.

Excelente producto, cumplió todas mis expectativas, llegó mucho más rápido de lo esperado.
Muy muy recomendado si tienes problemas en que la pintura se seca muy rápido, facilita el proceso de limpiado y además trae muchos repuestos para no batallar : D

The Red Grass Wet Palette is – IMHO – the best wet palette currently on the market. If you have never used a wet palette before, it could be a game changer. And this is the one I would recommend to you.
The Pros include:
* The wet palette is made of sturdy plastic, and seals tightly, especially if you use the elastic band included. It can keep paint fresh and workable up to a week.
* The paper holds paint well, and does not bleed through.
* The sponge is dense, holds water well, and won’t smell or mold if you clean it with a good antibacterial foaming soap each time you change the paper.
The Con is:
* Red Grass replacement paper can be difficult to find. Red Grass is a French company, and appears to be having supply chain issues. But you get 50 sheets with this set, so it should last you quite a while. Other manufacturers’ paper can certainly be used, as can baking parchment paper.
All in all, an excellent wet palette, and is one I highly recommend.

Keeps my acrylic paints usable for days while I’m painting minis! Good size, and could use the lid and spare sponge pad for twice the surface area if desired.

I’m pretty new to mini painting, but this is pretty simple to setup and use effectively. Very helpful for keeping the paint active on the pallet longer.

Solidly built and intentionally designed, it’s been a great addition to my workspace. I’ve seen people have various complaints but they sound like maybe they’re not making proper considerations for their local environment and other factors. You’ll have to educate yourself on various practices around wet palettes, but this is a fantastic option.
A big warning up front though- be careful how you clean the hydration membrane. I saw people suggesting rubbing alcohol to help kill and mildew you might get. This literally started to dissolve the membrane in seconds. I’d suggest occasionally just rising it with water/gently squeezing the old moisture out etc. I’ve also used gentle soap, but naturally this membrane wants to hold onto the soap so it takes a while to fully rinse.

Not too much else to say. I love this thing. The foam insert (it comes with two) holds water nicely and is smooth so it doesn’t mess with the texture of the surface. The paper stays smooth and remains wet better than regular paper or even parchment.
There’s a rubberized seal that keeps things nice and wet overnight so you can spread out your sessions. The little band is a nice touch but I don’t really travel with it so I don’t use it.

I use this pallet when I’m painting 25mm figures. The paint stays ready to use for longer periods. Often the paint is still wet the next day

I was skeptical about getting a wet palette. I’ve heard from many youtube painters about how easy it was to use one and how it can speed up your painting. For the price this is a great wet palette. I’ve had it and used it for a couple moths now. I can say that it’s easy to setup and use, also it does speed up somethings with my painting process. What I can say as a trick to keep my paints workable over long breaks with this wet palette. I keep it in my refrigerator, it slows the water evaporation and keeps the paints ready to work even after not touching them for a week or so.

This really changed the game when it came to mini painting. Mixing is so much easier and I have so much more time to paint thanks to this wet palette. Makes matching up mixes or touch ups towards the end of the process easier as well since you don’t have to spend so long trying to get things just right again. Highly recommend.
