But very difficult to apply! Quite a tricky model to build, but 1/32 is not my preferred scale – I’m a 1/72 fan. Other reviewers have commented on the awkward decals which i found difficult to apply, although it looks impressive – from a distance! I bought a second kit, and next time I will be less ambitious with the colour scheme.

I really liked the look of this Apache. I have only build one helicopter which was a 1/72 scale and it was a disaster to the point where I threw it away! So I had high hopes for this one.
The styrene was really high quality with very detailed moulding, crisp panel lines and lovely clear plastic for the cockpit. There was also a very highly detailed A4 decal sheet of the Royal Netherlands Air Force which I chose to use as the overall look was impressive.
The kit went together like a dream. I was able to paint the insides as I went, adding cockpit decals for a high detailing. The rest of the kit went together really well. I primed and painted the outer in the 3 colours for the box art, which were a combination of greys and blues and then came for the main task of adding the decals.
This is why I gave the kit only 3 stars. The decals where far too thick. I used decal softener and decalfix but they were so thick, they would not fold or sit right. Some where far too big, and looked really unsightly, so lots of trimming was needed after they had dried. The biggest bugbear (good job I don’t have a swear box with this one) was the decals melted when I applied a clear coat afterwards. Some curled away, but some of them simply melted away. Luckily enough I was able to salvage some of the kit through weathering but surely this should not happen.
Anyway, a brilliant kit, just use the stock transfers and not the 100 year anniversary set in my opinion, and if I had to go back and build this again, I would stick to the USAF or Dutch colours and not the specials!

This is a top quality accurate model like all this company’s models are. Easy to assemble

Item was delivered in a very timely matter considering it came from the USA to Canada. The box arrived in good condition so there was no damaged parts. I have not finished this project yet. It is still ongoing.

Avoid this Kit! Cockpit assembly doesn’t fit into the shell without huge modification or a lot of force, the fitment of some the parts is just awful.
Don’t even bother.

Rubbish! Do not waste your money and time. Decals of cockpit falling off during build.. ill fitting parts, top optic on nose impossible! So dissatisfied and disappointed, don’t think I’ll bother trying to appy further decals.. should have believed others review! DEPRESSING. Just glued nose optic/targeting units in place, when they are supposed to be moving parts, the fit is that bad.. please don’t be drawn in by pretty colour!
