   Most Revel kits are between okay and brilliant. This one tends to good I would say. Not yet built it but it looks good. Arrived in a big box. (Other 1:72 kits from this manufacturer come in boxes half this size but this is the new look etc)
   The instructions are glossy, comprehensive and easily understood. The decals are fine (no swastika – okay not PC but this is a war model from a non PC time and place?).
   This is a fine model for the price. No pilot figure though?

   Excellent box, with colored instructions, no flash at all, and very good to excellent fit of all pieces.
   Three things I must warn you about while building this plane.

   1. You have the option of building the plane with or without the pilot. If you go with the pilot (the only good painting part of mine for the project), you must make sure that you do not connect the two halves of the plane (step 9) before you test that the pilot fits inside. Instructions tell you to glue the two halves and then insert from under the pilot and the wings. I could not get him to fit and get in position. What I did was to connect half of the plane on the wings. It is that good of a fit it just snaps into place. No glue needed. Then I took the other half and snapped that on, tested it that all is in place and then glued them. DON’T GLUE THEM YET!!!!
   2. Of the same importance you must test if the cockpit glass fits. Before you glue the two parts and the wings test that the cockpit glass fits. (the clear part). Of course you can all together scratch using the pilot and go with the empty chair option. Revell offers you this option, but where is the fun in that? In fact the pilot looks good.
   3. Step 12 wants you to connect the propeller with two other parts. What the step does not tell you is that part A30 must be painted black. It tells you that at steps 21 and 22. This will make it much harder since you have to paint in black the perimeter of the part. Do this at step 12 before assembly and save yourself the trouble.

   The canopy is incorrect. It’s from a Zero, not a 109. Please send the correct kit.

   |The kit come in a over packaged box(realy could be less waste), but the aside , the kit is a nice kit. Plenty of detail to keep most people happy. The instructions are easy to follow. the painting sheet means you have good detail for camouflage. All together a nice kit .

   Do not buy it, it is nothing like the pictures, cheap plastic, and very small. A total waste of money!! I think a $1 toy from Dollar General is better than this.

    Model box was packaged in an envelope, was smashed when delivered. Was later than promised . Was a gift and worried it may have broken pieces. Some parts were broken but, they were able to glue them together and make it work.
