Gift for boyfriend’s mom and she loved it!!! She was asking about it so we surprised her with it. I think she spent a few days and enjoyed putting the puzzles together. The keyboards move and overall it’s a beautiful piece. Highly recommend it. Great gift. Recently purchased a tractor puzzle as a gift.

I was a little scared to buy it at first because everyone kept saying it was difficult to assemble and that they wouldn’t recommend it to people who have no experience with building something like this. But I decided to give it a try since I was in love with this piano. It was easy to assemble and the instructions were very clear. Everything came well organized, nothing was broken or out of place. I would recommend this to anyone, even if it’s their very first build.
I will say that if you want it to turn out great sand the corners of the piece cut outs and spend time making sure the gears are turning properly. Also be gentle when putting the pieces together, sometimes you have to really work with them and generally set them in place.
It will definitely take 5+ hours to assemble (take your time) but the outcome is just beautiful, elegant, and surprisingly very sturdy and quite big in size. All in all this kit is a 10/10 must buy/build for me.

This kit was very well thought out and creative in planning the pieces! My daughter built it over the course of 3 days and enjoyed it thoroughly, and the end piece is very pretty with lots of cool moving parts! Definitely recommend!

Took a while to get,about 3 weeks, and no wax in the box, clearly I purchased it from the wrong place. I should of kept looking through the other listings could of found it a little cheaper and received it a lot quicker. Regardless it’s a fun build, just take your time, double check that everything is facing the right direction, in the end Its a great piece and looks great on display.

I have built many of these wood mechanical models. There is always adjustments to get the mechanical part to work and work well. This model was much easier. The thought out the process well. They have you build a small assembly fixture to help construct the gear assembly.

My dad is an electrical engineer who spends much of his retirement watching TV. I bought this amazing music box piano for my mom, a pianist, for mother’s day but it was my dad who sunk his teeth into it and built it to completion. My mom said it was the best present ever because it got him away from his screens. The music box is amazing for all its ingenuity and precision. For father’s day I bought him a bouquet of flowers…which my mom enjoyed!

This is a beautiful piece and honestly I’m surprised in myself for having the patience to actually put it together.
Although the finished product isn’t perfect. The one gear needs some adjusting still but overall not to bad.
You hafta really take your time with the gearing and the piano keys to make sure everything lines up perfectly. When I say patience I mean alot of patience. I think I spent more time doing it over and over and adjusting the rods and such than anything. It was well worth it though and I think I may try some of the others they have

I was so excited to put this together and I was not disappointed!
First of all – this is definitely not for kids. Even with supervision, it’s still a bit advanced. Secondly – you really have to be careful with the strentgh you apply to the wooden parts so that you don’t break them. They’re not extremely fragile, however, they do require a good control over the strength you have in your hands that kids might not have developed yet. Good news – some of the more fragile parts do have “spare copy” included.
It took me about 5 hours (without breaks) to put this together and the result is so beautiful!

Really enjoyed putting this model together. Since this was the first i diidn’t realize that the actions shown on video don’t necessarily happen. Like the piano lid closing after the song. Other than that. It was perfect and the building guide tools were a bonus. Im hooked to build more. P.S. The cat is cute.
