I love to customize these “puzzles” by adding color. I tend to use permanent magic markers for the coloring. Try the “Dollar” type stores for a package with multiple colors! Magic markers will not overload the “plywood” of these puzzles with moisture, causing them to swell. I’ve also used acrylic paint sparingly, but need to stay away from fasteners, tabs, and pins used to secure the puzzle pieces. I colored the Tower Bridge using mostly acrylic paint this time because of the colors I wanted to use not found in my magic marker stash. Check out my “Grand Prix” car from ROKR, too.

I LOVE doing these. This one is extra amazing bc it also lights up. The only reason I gave 4 stars is bc the batteries aren’t included. Yes, it says that in the description on amazon, but the directions (shown in my picture) shows that they are included since they are on the parts list. It doesn’t say anywhere on the box or directions that they aren’t included. It’s a little disappointing bc you have to wait to go get batteries to see it lit up. Other than that, this was super fun to put together and took me about 2.5 hours. The batteries to get are LR44 1.5V. You need 3 and I found them on Amazon in a 6 pack with free shipping for under $3
