   Directions are clear and drawings precise. Follow steps carefully. Comes with masking for windows. Wait for decals to fully dry before using sharp fine tip blade to cut out rear window frame area if you want to have exposed engine compartment. Challenging painting and building, difficulty level high. Check decals before painting to see where black and red body paint is applied. I used enamel paint. Six stars

   I spent about $40 for a aftermarket p/e kit & removed the front clip & built out the hidden areas in 1:1 fashion [as seen I photos] The motor begs to have many 1:1 Custom Detail additions crafted. Check out the complete build @ Instagram “ZenModeling”

   really good modl, fun to paint and complete. My only gripe is decals at the 2 rear sides need to be split alonf the top and bottom pieces if you plan to display with the rear deck removed.

   Tamiya models are second to none in terms of fit and quality. The detail provided with this model should give you a working knowledge of how this LeMans racer was put together. Early teens may have the patience and skill to complete it. You’ll need to buy paint and glue separately. And make sure you put it in a dust free display case once you’re done!
