Well made model. Good sturdy plastic. Happy with product.

My son starting doing snap together model kits at the age of 6 with some simple 1/32 scale cars. He has moved up to the more advanced Pegasus WW2 airplane models and they are a fantastic quality. When completed and painted, they look as good as any 1/48 scale glue kit but can be assembled by a child. Outstanding value.

Con i prodotti Tamiya non si sbaglia mai
Darren Duvall –
Tamiya’s planes are on the small side as I like a larger model. The really great thing about Tamiya is the quality and parts fit well together.

Solid kit, and solid parts. Realistic before it’s even built. For an early edition series of the FW Family it has it all. Impressed.
William –
Can not wait to make it.

This is a pretty good kit and great value ordered at $17. The interior detail is excellent, the instrument panels have engraved details and dials. The surface detail is well done with finely recessed panel lines and rivets. There are no flash on the sprues and no excess oil. The landing gear wells, legs, and wheels all have good detail and fit together to give sturdy support for the model. The canopy parts are good, they’re pretty clear and the framework is easy to follow with a knife. The engine and cooler fan are well detailed. The model as a whole fits together very well requiring no putty, just quick sanding over the joints. The only bad thing about the kit is the decal quality. They’re typical Tamiya quality, (pretty crap) They’re easy to position but they do not want to conform to detail. They’re practically ignore micro sol, taking half a dozen applications to get them to just begin to conform. The decals are also quite fragile, I tore some stencils 2 or 3 times. But in the end they look good which is what matters. I’m very happy with this kit, its very good value, it came together very easily and the final product looks wonderful. I would recommend this kit to even a beginner thanks to the kits excellent engineering.

I am a little disappointed that there are no working flaps, the wings are solid. Other than that happy with with this model.
