What else to say but headline. I’ve built the Hasegawa kit; it’s good, but there’s no comparison. They have no competition on the same level if you want a combination of buildability, good engineering, and detail. Eduard’s arguably producing marginally better detailed kits – but they take much more effort. If you want to get an accurate, lovely model of the Tony built in a finite time of a truly graceful fighter, this is simply the best.

機銃の銃身が無い等の不満点はありますが、昨年１０月神戸でみた修復された実機の感動が薄れない時期の発売で感謝しています。この時、復元を担当された川崎重工関連会社の役員さんから、この時測定したデジタルデータを模型会社２社にお渡ししたので楽しみにしておいて下さいと言われたのがこんなに早く実現するとは・・・。

Non lo ho ancora realizzato. Lo sto studiando e mi sembra semplicemente perfetto come tutti gli altri kit Tamiya che ho acquistato. Tamiya è sempre una garanzia da acquistare ad occhi chiusi.

タミヤの素晴らしいキットであることは間違いないと思いますが、あえて気に入らないことを書くと、半割れの透明な機体パーツは、なぜか、すりガラス状の表面モールドで、透明性が低いです。せっかく内部をきちんと仕上げてもボヤッと見えるだけになってしまいます。透明機体パーツを使おうか迷います。また、機首上部のカバーは取り外せるようになっていますが、機銃の銃身が取り外すカバーに付く形になっており不自然です。何とか上手く機体内部側に銃身が付いた上でカバーが取り外せるようにしたいのですが、上手く改造できるのか分かりません。ひょっとしたら本物も銃身が機体カバーに付いたまま取り外すようになっていたのかもしれませんが。
