This is a well made product. A lot of other models I’ve assembled before had overflow plastic and it took a lot of time cleaning thar away. These parts are clean and precise. I would definately give this as a gift. I’m putting this one together and painting it as a present for a ten year old with muscle control problems. I’m having a blast and hope the ten year old enjoys it.

Old school tamiya kit that’s been in production since the late 70’s. Builds up fairly easily but perhaps lacking in detail compared to more modern kits.

Excellent service great product.

There isn’t many choices for the A-10, but as always I was pleased with Tamiya’s kit. Everything came out strait and the seams weren’t too bad at all.
EDIT 6/21
The first one came out good, in the two tone grey with extra love given to the dash/pilot/canopy/nacelles/ordnance/decals, and was hung in the garage.
Eventually it succumbed to AA fire (BB gun), as my models often do, and had to be scrapped. Ordered another kit to build AROUND the BB gun for…?
My construction kits –
Real nice kit to build with real good details. In fact it was that good that I bought another one to do a different colour scheme.

Brrrrt! Great kit although the panle lines are really bad for a Tamiya kit had to over scribe them to get the definition when washing it after painting lots of tiny details to lose yourself in and obsess over at 1/48 scale it’s a great size if you have the room

After doing 8 Tamiya models, I can say they have excellent quality. Especially the large aircraft carrier.
This model unfortunately is not up to their quality. Very little detail, very few parts, no masking for canopy. I had to check twice to ensure it was Tamiya.
Very disappointing. It’s like a kids toy. Unimpressed

Had some minor fitting issues and has decent details. Overall a good kit.

I resumed scale modeling at the start of the pandemic so I’m certainly no expert, but this is the first Tamiya kit I’ve been disappointed in. Obviously an old tooling, the kit lacks detail, there are many ejector pin marks although most won’t be visible. A few ill fitting seams requiring sanding &/or filling. On the plus side, it’s a easy build & makes an impressive model given the distinctive profile of the aircraft. Feels overpriced with its issues. I’d go with the Hobby Boss kit.

A nice easy to build model.

Great kit, comes with decals for different units, can make a specific plans. Tons of detail. Parts are will for and molded. Option for gear up or down, canopy open or closed, entry ladder or not.

I thought it came out nicely. For the most part, everything came together well.
Putting the cockpit in required a little elbow grease but everything else went smoothly.
