For not painting models for over 35 years, this one was challenging with respect to putting on the decals it provided, it’s a shame it doesn’t come with better instructions for the new comer, the pieces are very detailed and it comes together as easy as they come, I recommend that you paint your model while its still attached to the plastic frame it comes with, it makes for an easier paint job. Once you put it together, you will be amazed how realistic it looks, I just wished Tamiya would provide English set of instructions for the paint colors and what you should do first. Altogher, it’s a good model to build.

Horrible product. Seller will not pay for return shipping. Took over a month to receive product and son was disappointed in the thinly cheaply made product.

Arrived as to the time scale, a difficult and fiddilly build, had to manufacture a base for the figure to stand on, as the figure could stand without a base.

Another ecellent model from Tamiya, the 1/6 scale is a lovely scale and size for the figures to capture the detail, simple to construct, giving a wonderful challenge to paint and bring out the exceptional detail in the moulding of this well sculpted figure.

Fits together really nicely, comprehensive colour painting guide and insignia decals included with this one which isn’t always the case.

Excellent figure. Plenty of detail. Only criticism is it would of been better with an extra weapon. But fantastic kit nonetheless.

In the 70’s and 80’s I worked for as Display Manager for a large Toy and Hobby company with Stores all over England, ( since I left England 30 odd years ago , Beatties of London ltd sadly went bankrupt and closed down) Tamiya was my favorite models of choice, especially being a WW2 history buff, I built and converted so many of the 1:35 scale kits and of course everyone eles, Airfix, Revell, Monogram, Italeiri, Hasegawa, etc but Tamiya’s quality always stood above the rest. This is a fine 1:16 scale Whermacht Officer, nicely detailed , not too much sanding needed when it comes to the joint lines, as with all kits, preparing is the key and of course, a good paint job definitely makes the end result all worth the effort!
