    Tamiya is one of the top model making companies in the world, and probably the brand of model maker I purchase the most, next to Hasegawa. This particular model is one that has long been anticipated. The detail and more importantly, the accuracy of this model is perfect! A definite must have – 10 out of 10 on any modellers scale – and highly recommended to me by International IPMS Champion – Wayne Holmes.

    Take your time building this model (Mr. Holmes projected about 1 – 3 years to do this model ~ but he is a perfectionist).

    Rated this toy 5 stars for fun (to build), 5 stars in educational value, but only 3 stars for durability – as this is a static DISPLAY ONLY model.

    Purchased this model because I already have the Spitfire 1Xc, and wanted to complete my collection with the XVIe….
