I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet the compressor is. I have a few, and this model is really pleasantly unoffensive in terms of noise. It holds perfect pressure while spraying and should be good for nearly any airbrush application. It’s a nice unit at a very good price. Grab one while you can.
Mine arrived with a damaged air pressure gauge, no doubt due to shipping abuse. However after contacting Timbertech, they sent me a replacement gauge straight away. They have very good service supporting their product.
Just another feather in their cap!

I am a commission painter. i have used this compressor a LOT for over a year. it’s still chugging along with no sign of wear or defect. really surprising considering my “awesome master airbrush” compressor that was so highly rated was beyond useable by the time the tank literally exploded (it actually rusted from the inside out) after a year of use, which prompted me to buy this one.
welds are good, PSI gauge is accurate, tank is abundant, moisture catcher works really well. REALLY well. i live in WI and the humidity here gets unbearable, this thing sucked out pretty much every bit of water from the air, something my master airbrush compressor never achieved.
if you aren’t in the market for a legitimate shop compressor, this is the one for you. t-shirt brushing, cake decorating, model cars, the whole works. this thing is what you want.

It’s better than I expected. Had it for many months before I used it and recently I’ve had the time.
Only gets a little warm from steady use.
It’s a bit loud but if you want quiet, build a sound dampening box for it with proper ventilatiion on 2 sides and a couple of computer fans for airflow.
Or, spend $1200
on a SilentAire compressor.
Up to now I am happy with this low priced compressor.

Great air compressor. Seems to be a little loud. Feet do not stick to ground so compressor moves around when running. 😁. But overall very happy with the purchase!!

I recently purchased the Timbertech Upgraded Airbrush Single-Piston Oil-free Mini Compressor ABPST08 with Cooling Fan and I am extremely pleased with my purchase.
This compressor is incredibly quiet and produces very little vibration, which is great for a noise-sensitive environment. The air buildup is also quick and responsive, making it easy to use for airbrushing and other similar applications.
The addition of the cooling fan is a great feature as it helps to prevent overheating and prolong the life of the compressor. Overall, I would highly recommend this product to anyone in need of a reliable and efficient airbrush compressor.
In summary, if you are looking for a high-quality airbrush compressor that is both quiet and efficient, the Timbertech Upgraded Airbrush Single-Piston Oil-free Mini Compressor ABPST08 with Cooling Fan is definitely worth considering. It is a great investment for anyone in need of a durable and reliable compressor.

Great product, very quiet, stable pressure, BUT it seems on some models and by some commentators, the 1/8 threading stops midway like it doesn’t fit. THIS is not the wrong threading! The threads on the model are fresh out the factory, and sort of tight. If you have a -proper- iwata or etc… Airbrush hose and it starts to thread but won’t tighten, it’s because the threading is still extremely tight!
What I did i got one of my spare airbrush hoses and I forced it on using pliers. This will “break-in” the threads so my proper airbrush hose fit like a glove! I’ve attached a video to show my process
PS: be confident you have a 1/8 BSP threading connector. If it fits previous airbrush tools and accessories, then it’s probably a 1/8 BSP. If it’s something you picked up at Home Depot… It might not be a 1/8

This product ended up being perfect for my particular use case (miniature painting). It’s compact, lightweight, and quiet. It arrived in great shape and without any detectable air leaks.
I’ve yet to really put it through a more intensive painting session, as this is my first step into the world of airbrushing, but will update this review once I’ve had a chance to do so. With that said, I don’t anticipate having any issues with heat buildup, especially with the included fan on this model.

The gauge came with a warped display which stopped the gauge from reading properly. Customer support reached out to me quickly and sent out a new gauge.

I was informed to get this as it want manufactured in China and I’m glad I did. Not only was it simple to put together it has good pressure on the stock regulator, it’s amazingly quite and hardly draws any power when on. I was very surprised at the quality to price proposition and will recommend this to anyone.
