First time building a model car in over 30 years, glad I chose an AMT kit, easy to build with clear precise directions
Joseph Hancock –
Lots of Flash, really weird plastic, took alot of trimming and some mods to get a good fit in some areas,
But it came out pretty nice
Joseph Hancock –
This must be an old kit with worn out casting. There is a lot of flash on the racks and the plastic is the weirdest shade of green I have ever seen. But with paint and perserverence it still came out nice. Front wheel attachment is a new one to me…

I guess I forgot how many parts models have and how tiny they can be. It would be nice to have one with larger and fewer parts.

First one I ever tried an the instructions were great for a first timer

Este modelo es de lo peor que me he encontrado de AMT, varias piezas están deformes, no ajustan algunas piezas, tienes que ocupar mucho putty para poder cerrar o ajustar muchas de las partes, y entonces también tienes que lijar mucho.

First off, there was a lot of extra plastic that needed to be trimmed off and sanded. I mean a LOT. I spent more time sanding than anything else. Next, the directions were unclear. I often had to refer to a photo of the finished car to try and guess what the directions were trying to show. Also, there were extra pieces. I went through the directions a hundred times and could not find any mention of these two extra pieces I found. Lastly, when I tried assembling the main components, they didn’t fit. The engine sat on a peg on the chassis and where it was, the drive shaft didn’t reach. So I cracked apart some pieces to make things fit and then the chassis didn’t fit into the body. There was a part of the rear end that was supposed to fit snugly but was just a little too small so I had to fill in with clay. And I know this is really nit picking here, but they remembered to add the detail of seat belts to the back seat, but left them out of the front. The only good thing I can say is that it’s cheap and I didn’t feel so bad about throwing it away at the end.

Model parts are cheaply molded takes lots of trimming and sanding to fit parts. If your not skilled at models do not purchase this one. I think it may be the brand as I have always bought Revell models in the past. Very disappointed. After almost being completed I find out the hood will not close all the way as it hits the top of the motor. Now I have to somehow get the air cleaner off of it and try to fix it so the hood will close. Or just prop it open and call it done.

Tengo el kit original y quise hacer uno más, bajo mucho su calidad, requiere mucho trabajo de lima y ajustes para ensamblar
