Die Maskier Flüssigkeit überzieht die zu maskierende Fläche mit einem bläulichen, gummi artigen Belag.
Dieser Belag wird von der Farbe nicht unterlaufen und es sind scharfe Abgrenzungen möglich.
Durch die bläuliche Einfärbung, lässt sich die Flüssigleit sehr gut mit dem Pinsel auftragen und man siehr sehr genau, wo maskiert wird.
Der Pinsel sollte allerdings sofort gereinigt werden, nicht antrocknen lassen. Man bekommt sonst die angetrocknete Flüssigkeit schwer wieder aus den Borsten des Pinsels.
Vom Modell lässt sich der gummi artige Belag leicht wieder, durch leichtes reiben, oder abheben mit der Pinzette, rückstandsfrei ablösen.

This masking fluid works like a dream. It comes up nice and easy after painting the part and application was simple enough. The down sides are that It smells a bit like dead fish and is a pain to clean out of the brush.

When I purchased this, I thought I would leave it too long and it would mess up the paint underneath it. I’m glad I was wrong.
I would recommend using a disposable brush or something you don’t mind only using for this stuff.
I wanted to create paint chips for this Mando helmet. You just kinda dab it on and let it sit so it doesn’t run. You can do a light layer then come back to it when it dries a bit. Its probably easier to do a nice thick layer of it but I found you could do maybe 2 passes and it worked just fine.
Recommended not leaving it on more then a day. There is a chrome layer under and it when I took it off it didn’t dull it. In the picture I used flat clear coat so it’s not as shiny as it was after I took off the liquid mask. I used regular blue gloves because it catches the masking better than your finger and you also don’t leave fingerprints on whatever you’re using it for.
I used very little so this bottle will probably last a while.

Il prodotto riesce a rompere la carta, non importa sia una carta di qualità o meno. Non essendo pratica ho fatto delle prove. E facile da utilizzare con spazi più ampi ma per dettagli piccoli bisogna essere in grado di regolare la quantità di prodotto. Questo mi porta al fatto che la confezione del prodotto non sia la migliore… secondo me, non riesce a proteggere correctamente per evitare che si asciughi al lungo periodo.
Dice che si può dipingere sopra la sona protetta, ma se stacca la carta, non vedo come può funzionare.
Il prezzo non è così vantaggioso dopo tutto, essendo un prodotto che ho già utilizzato, per principio non faccio reso. Ma lo sconsiglio. Penso che si possono trovare altri prodotti migliori per qualche euro in più

I paint miniatures and this product has been a lifesaver, especially when I am airbrushing. I wasn’t sure at first if it would work over painted surfaces but as long as the paint is dry, it won’t peel it off. It comes off easily by rubbing it, but if some of it gets in tight corners and crevices, I use a toothbrush to rub it off.

I am using this to build plastic models and hoped it would be really useful for detail work with an airbrush. Unfortunately it doesn’t work very well. It blocks the paint but it’s almost impossible to get a clean paint line when you peel it off. In addition to that, more often than not it will peel some of the paint off with it when it’s removed leading to inconsistent results. The bottle says that this is due to leaving it on too long but I played around with it quite a bit and couldn’t get a decent result. There are some uses for it like putting a little dab on places you are going to glue, but overall a disappointing purchase.
