    It’s an okay model but its not exactly a lightening as is on the box it has some side body moldings that you have to sand off if you wanna stay true to the lightnings design as it is on the box

    This a quick and fun easy build….. that is if you don’t care about using superglue or other readily available glues. For those that use the plastic cement I salute you.

    キットはERTLのもので細部まで再現されており
    パーツどうしの合いもよく、作り易く良いキットだと思います。
    ボディは他グレードと共有しているため、
    ライトニングのボディにするためには少し加工が必要です。
    ボディの両側にあるサイド・トリムを全て削り落として
    綺麗に整えなければならないので面倒な作業になります。
    特に気にならない方は、そのまま組み立てた方が楽だと思います。
    あと、フロント・グリルとサイド・ミラーはメッキパーツで用意されていますが、
    実車はフロント・グリルはボディカラー、サイド・ミラーはブラックなので
    メッキを落として黒塗装しました。
    ボディの横に貼るデカールのライトニングの青い文字が黒ボディに貼ると同化して
    全く見えなくなり、下の白い波線だけになってしまいました。
    仕方なくシート（座席の背の部分）に貼るライトニングの白文字を貼ってごまかしました。

    Had quite a lot of molding flash. Lots of trimming and sanding. Parts did fit well.

    I have been building plastic models for 30 years. This is probably one of the most annoying hard models I have built. I think It is because its AMT. Currently I’m building a Revell and it’s so much more enjoyable to build. Better instructions and everything. I’ll probably never buy another AMT. I bought this one because I wanted a Lightning. If this is you, then by all means buy it. But be prepared to have your patience tested.
