Buen kit del clásico howitzer long Tom, algunas piezas que rellenar, buenas calcas, incluye figuras, opción con ruedas y para desplegar en posición fija.

Model is outstanding in its detail, but don’t be fooled, it is only 1/48th Scale, parts are small than you think!! Take your time lay out the pieces you need, clean them up test fit them paint them and let them dry at least 24 hours!! Very nicely Detailed model, take your time & SEE it in your mind before using the cement!! You can Modify some pieces if you think about it and TAKE your time!! Perfect piece for a Diorama!! ENJOY!! ;-)))
Cancelled for Non-Performance –
I prefer the 1/35th scale for the detail and ease-of-assembly, but this is model from by dim past. Detail and assembly is what I remember, but not really as nice as the larger offerings.
If you have made this particular model in the past, it’s fun to re-do it with greater model resources and skills.
It would be nice to find the 155mm gun model, too.
A nice long weekend model at a reasonable price, but not something I’d present to my in-law who was USA Korean War field artillery.

No dislikes!

This is the kit I use to build when Aurora produced it. It has very good detail and is more accurate then you would think of a old kit. The model builds easily and only required a little putty on the barrel, slide and some ejector pin marks. Overall this was just a fun build.

This 8 inch mobile howitzer kit fired my imagination 50 years ago, and is doing so again! The detail and operating parts stands up well to contemporary model kit. Strongly recommended!

It reminded me of my youth – I had several of these. One kit came with the M8 Munitions carrier. I love the selection and have many of them on my future purchase list. I, for one, would pay extra for a more durable box – like the old Aurora or the current Meng. Overall, four out of five stars.

Has nice detail.
Fit could be a little better.
