There’s a lot of really tiny intricate parts and pieces so it’s definitely for a person that is very patient and detailed oriented and follow directions well if you handle all that the finished products is quite rewarding and cool looking, something to put on a shelf maybe in a collection.

I have made a number of these metal models without problems, however the instructions for this one are ambiguous, and as such I have not finished building the model. When I get some more spare time I will try again to decipher the instructions.

    It will be a challenge.

As others have said this is too small & complicated to build well. Who ever says its a relaxing to buid is lying through their teeth & this is coming from someone who has built alot of skill level 1 through 3 model kits both static & non static as well as countless other Metal Earth kits. One of the most frustrating parts I ran into I would have to say so far has been the gas pedals on the floor of the car. They actually expect you to bend pieces soo small into a tiny, nearly impossible to see 3D rectangles(the gas pedals themselves) they are nearly impossible to place into the mounting tabs & the mount the gas pedals go on didn’t fit into the tabs on the floor of the ether. If you were able to finish this kit 100% to a T without damaging anything then You’d pretty much have to be a superhuman hobbyist with unlimited paitents & accuracy.

I realy wanted it to be a good kit but & gave it my best but it proved to be way too tiny & needlessly detailed & badily engineered to comlete on some satasfactory level. The gas pedals on the floor could have just as easily been engraved & or painted onto the floor & provide the same effect without the needless, complex assembly. After breaking a few pieces & re-buying the kit once for parts I eventually just ended up giving up on it for now & I’ve built other Metal Earth kits mostly Star Wars & arcetecture(buildings) kits that were far better designed & easier & less stressful to build. Automotive kits seem to be the hardest & worst designed of the Metal Earth kits.

Muy detallado, divertido al armarlo, al final luce genial.

Another awesome Metal Earth model! These are so much fun! If this is your first time building one of these I wouldn’t recommend this as your starter model. If you have done these before then you will love it. Directions were very clear and pretty solid once put together.

I use tweezers to assemble most of this and fine tipped snips to remove the pieces. I use a headset that has a light and magnifier so I can see the tiny pieces better. Enjoyed this very much.

Si las piezas se rompen, se puede armar o arreglar con kolaloka.

I broke this, twice, in the course of building it.
I’d bought one for each of my family members, and no matter how gentle we were, something broke on each kit.

I did manage to get mine together despite that.
The part I broke was the bottom of the car. I used tape to hold that part together, until I got another part on to hold it together.

This was my second metal earth kit, my first being the TARDIS.
I mostly build gunpla, and other plamo bandai kits, so this was an adventure that I ejoyed, despite thinking I’d ruined the kit.
It’s now sitting on my book case. I’m afraid to touch it, in case it falls apart.

Would definitely recommend the TARDIS, but my current advice is to steer clear of the delorean until you’ve had more than one or two metal earth kits as practice.

The photo is something that’s supposed to be one long piece, not two.

    Warning: it’s TINY!
This kit is quite difficult to do well. There’s just so much going on in such a confined space that great care is needed to produce a good-looking final model. I was only partly successful. The front end is particularly frustrating. I had to cut a few corners here and there to get things close enough to be acceptable.
The chassis is really cool, particularly the bottom view. The body looks pretty neat. Displayed apart, so you can see some of the detail work, it’s quite nice. The problems mount when the body and chassis are mated. Things just don’t line up.
The end result is impressive only to someone who has some appreciation of the construction process. As a model car it’s childishly crude. As a piece of art constructed of flat stainless steel sheet it’s amazing. I’d say it’s about a 3-footer: it looks good from about 3 feet away.
I recommend building a few of the simpler models before attempting this one. For goodness sake don’t give this to an unsuspecting kid in an effort to interest them in building models!
If you have the patience, the skill, the simple tools and a steady hand you’ll have many happy hours ahead.
    Good luck!

    Perfect

Our Grandson is 19. He came to visit during the California rain storms of 2023, and needed something to keep him busy. This was perfect! It took 2 days of very meticulous, careful work, and was absolutely beautiful when he finished. He had made severl earth metal models before, so he was a pro at reading and understanding the directions. I’m so happy we got this for him! He was really proud of the finished product.

Es un verdadero reto armarlo, me gustó mucho y los materiales se siente bien, aunque no todas las partes porque algunas están muy delgadas y se sienten endebles
