   Apply heavy amount I let dry almost 2 hours before removing. Great for curved irregular surfaces. No bleed through.

   I have so many paint jobs ruined by this product, I trashed it eventually. The problem is if the film wasn’t applied thick enough, it won’t come off cleanly, not even with duct tape. In order to remove those that sticks too well to the painted surface, the paint job would be damaged. Masking tape is more work but many times more reliable.

   If you are into modeling and need to mask to get clean paint lines, but tape is not getting the desired detail, then you try a liquid mask.

   The rubberized coating goes on pretty easy, it’s getting it off that can be difficult. To begin, if you are spraying paint, the product has to be applied somewhat heavy, or the paint can seep through. This is especially true if you’re painting a dark color onto light.

   When it is time to peal off the mask after painting, it has a tendency to get stuck in the nooks and crannies; which something like GunPla has aplenty. Thicker coats of the product can prevent it from getting caught in places, but not entirely.

   Finally, only use this when absolutely necessary because it does not go far. It’s uses are not measured by number of model kits, but number of pieces.

   水彩画を描く時に水彩画専用のマスキングゾルをいろいろ使っていますが、今回水彩画用よりもかなり安いけれど同じラテックスゴムが原料というこのGSIクレオス Mr.マスキングゾルを購入して水彩画に使ってみました。（誰かがボンドと同じとコメントしてありましたがボンドは酢酸ビニール系なのでそれは違いますね）
   使用感として粘度が高いので70％～50％程度に水で薄めた方が使用する時に作業しやすくなり水彩画専用のものとさほど遜色が無い感じになりました。またこのゾルは水色に濃く着色してあるので乾燥後に剥離しても紙にうっすらと色写りするのでやはりこの点でも薄めて使った方がいいです。使い勝手として、塗る際は蓋の筆は使用せず爪楊枝を使うなど何か工夫した芳が繊細な作業がしやすいかもしれません。
   値段は安いし、もっと薄い着色ならば星5つかな。

   マスキングテープが貼れない凸凹な場所に使ってます。
   DIYなどでミルクペイントやアメリカーナを
   使う場所によく利用していますが綺麗に塗り分けができます。
   粘度がかなり高めなので薄めながら使っています。
   また使った筆はソルベント等で洗浄が必要です。
   地元で売らなくなったので3本買いだめしました!
   これはもう私のDIYでの無くてはならない必需品です。

    The stuff is amazing you brush it on and you can get into those tight little areas super well then you paint and then you peel it off and works great if you have any trouble getting a little bit up after you’ve painted I recommend using blue painter’s tape push it on to it and it’ll pull it off no problem but I have no discrepancies with this I don’t know how I made it so far without it in the first place

    Takes paint off of tamiya acrylic paint, I’d assume this is the case for most water-based paints. Not sure about lacquer-based paints, they might work better though.
