The 2002 is my favorite bmw so I had high hopes for this one. Also it was $45 too which when paying that much it should guarantee a good quality model. But I guess that isn’t always true. When I got it everything seemed fine and painting it went well. Then it game time to build the parts together. When putting the suspension and other components together I was greeted with a surprise. The fit of some parts were awful! Worse than the previous two I had build before and those weren’t even that great. (My luck with good quality models isn’t so good) On top of that, I found some parts were missing and I couldn’t find them. Finally, talking about the kit as a whole, some redesign could be done as some parts are too small and the chrome parts also didn’t fit well. So in the end I don’t know if I will get any more kits from the manufacturer again as it was a sad disappointment and I was hoping it would be better.

Nice model, but bummed I got the white one instead of orange. Roll of the dice I suppose.

This is my first Hasegawa try just because I had a 2002 same as the model. It was focused on the exterior details than engine or interior. Good detailed kit but connection details are not as accurate as a Tamiya. No engine& no window options.Overall it was a nice fun model, enjoyed it!
