This model is like the others in the range ,the instructions are a bit challenging and seam out of order
The parts are not a good fit in some cases and there are a number of very small parts and a magnifying glass is
needed. I am disappointed with this kit because it is over enginered and some parts do not line up.i do believe that there are better models in this size on the market.

Good kit. Fairly taxing but great fun to assemble, with experience. Looks spot on in a certain companies acrylic “bronze green” rather than the usual “military” greens imho.
I found the instructions appeared to have a few wrongly numbered parts / references, again no problem for experienced modellers.
Some parts have a litle flash ( not the wheel spokes thankfully!) but it’s good quality plastic, so they clean up ok with some work.

My husband says this is the worst kit he as ever tried to make it is very poor quality sadly we can’t return it, the reviews all say the same it as missing parts the parts don’t fit it will not be finished would not recommend it and will not buy again it was not a cheap kit so I am very unhappy as it was bought as a Christmas gift.

One star because it arrived.
I don’t know which model previous reviewers gave 5 stars for but if it was the Carson Triumph Motorcycle I must have got a dud…..
I am an experienced model builder particularly Tamiya, Warhammer Airfix etc (this is the first Italeri kit) and have been building on and off since the 1960’s, I have just given up on this kit – and I do usually try to persevere but really – this is just awful.
The parts and the colours are wrongly indicated in the instructions and like a previous reviewer, I can manage my way around this, BUT having assembled the frame it does not sit ’square’ – it has to be twisted to get the rods to glue together, so I decided to build the rear end including the despatch bag carriers, consequently it has become painfully obvious that this is a dreadfully moulded kit.
The dispatch bag assy sits above the rear seat, the mudguard is the same width as the wheel so it does not fit over the wheel AND it is too far forward on the frame, the gearbox does not sit squarely on the frame and the fuel tank is at a ridiculous angle, I could go on but life is too short – it’s going in the bin. (Can’t believe Italeri sit side by side with Tamiya) ?
The shame is that my father was an RAF dispatch rider in WW2 and I was building this in plenty of time for a Christmas present for him.
Just had a thought – I may try to finish building the bike and update this review with a photograph, but don’t hold your breath, I really don’t like wasting my time.
Update…
Spoke to a friend (also experienced building models), thinks it could either be a forgery/dodgy copy, or a one off poorly quality check, so I got in touch with Amazon customer support who as usual have arranged a refund and will investigate the product.
So 5 stars for Amazon but a word of warning – this particular model kit the Carson Triumph Dispatch Rider Motorcycle is very poorly manufactured, the moulding is inconsistent in that the parts do not fit together to make a scale model that should look like the picture on the box.

I would like to rate it higher but I am unable to. one vital piece was broken and partially missing.I made contact with Italeri over 3 weeks ago and was promised a reply and I am still waiting.
