This kit is the short-barrel M110 that was used in Vietnam. The product description and the instructions refer to a later M110A1 version that actually has a much longer barrel – (minor issue). Each M110 had a crew of 13: 5 rode on the M110, and the other 8 rode in an M548 ammunition carrier. With this kit, the gun barrel and the recoil spade are movable. For diorama purposes, I recommend also getting the M548 model from AFV Club which includes several pallets of shells and powder canisters.
Likes: Parts fit well and there was virtually no flash. It is molded in near Olive Drab, so one doesn’t need to repaint the finished model. Flexible track simplifies assembly. Three 203mm (8″) shells are included.
Dislikes: No crew figures are included. No powder-charge canisters are included. The breech-lock is not accurate. A few assembly and painting details were missing.
