The only reason I’m giving this kit 4 stars is because the wood main deck does not match the newer Trumpeter kits with the large center deck cutout. It is not a deal breaker, just takes some fiddling to cut that area out before the deck can be installed. Otherwise, the total kit is near to perfection and I am very pleased with the detail I’m able to achieve with this upscale kit.

I am giving this kit 5 stars, because I have their kits for 1/200 Nelson, Bismarck and Hornet–waiting for Hood kit to come out. I built the 1/200 Trumpeter Arizone, WITHOUT THIS KIT!!! I regret it deeply!! I used cobbled-together PE kits from various manufacturers, including masts and beams from a 1/192 PE kit! I need to purchase ANOTHER 1/200 Trumpeter Arizona, and get this kit–but I am running out of room in my home!
