I have a couple of other die cast helicopter models which are really detailed, solid and well made. They are on my mantelpiece and I often admire them. Not bad considering they cost about £5 each in the local market.
From the reviews, I’d imagined that this would be of similar quality. Unfortunately it isn’t – it feels and looks like smooth plastic, is pretty light, and has far less detailing than my other models. In short, it looks clearly inferior to the die casts I already and have, so I was a bit disappointed.
But I’m being picky. Someone who is just looking for a reasonable, plasticky model helicopter will probably be pleased.

It’s pretty neat. The black hawk was also larger than I thought it would be honestly which is awesome. Though when I got it the thing was loosely placed in the box, zip tie thing looking to be already cut. Also a wheel was broken off but that’s an easy fix so I’m not entirely complaining there. Overall, I’d probably buy something else like it if not it again at some point.

Firstly people who have rated this product poorly need to stop collecting. This is a fantastic product at a very reasonable price. This is not a toy. The wheels don’t work. The body is metal. It’s quite heavy. Some genius thinks that the tail rotor is attached with rubber bands. You are supposed to cut away the rubber band genius. The precision could have been improved but considering the cost of brands like Hogan Wings and Revell and Hasegawa this is a steal price. Great work New Ray.

The model is excellent & is true to realistic look. However! It’d a manufacturing defect on the back there was a gap which I’d to fill with a mould now totally covered. Apart from it it’s perfect

Got this for my office so everyone can thank me for my service and to share my funny story of how I swept an airfield for area beautification. It looks cool as it collects dust. The stand is flimsy and the bird is much heavier, ensure you display this on a secure area.

The body is solid and feels like metal. The blades are thin plastic and can bend or break easily. The side doors slide to give a view of the inside. Overall a nice display item.

I bought this is a model to use during a mishap investigation, so I bought it in a hurry based on price and delivery timeline, didn’t pay much attention to the scale. It is bigger than I expected, I was thinking it would be around the size of a Matchbox car. This thing is a good 7 or 8 inches long and has some heft to it. I don’t use it as a toy, but it does make a good model for H-60 crash investigations. Recommend.

Ok so the first black hawk was ok no problems but second one was poorly assembled by manufacturing company luckily I had glue to glue the landing tires cause the where completely off the body and the main propeller was warped so overall the one I got was perfect and the other one I got came out a little wonky but overall I love it and I fixed it

I have a personal connection to the UH-60 so I think this is cool. It didn’t latch to the stand properly, if you see in the front photo, the helo is leaning to the side. I can fix that by gluing it. It is wobbly when I touch the helo so this becomes a “do not touch” display. Pretty good details and durable. I would gift it to a close military friend but is not a toy for kids as the plastic pieces will likely break, i.e. blades. Will server purpose as a display and memory.
