Enjoyed building this! Pieces detailed and fit with minimal cleanup. Can’t beat this for the price, I will be buying more Revell models.

This Revell Bronco model is my favorite build so far. The pieces had no flash and fit together better than some Tamiya models. I used a mix of Tamiya sky blue and Tamiya White to achieve the light blue color recommended. To make assembly easier, I completely constructed the engine and body undercarriage before doing any painting. I found an old wild horse decal from unused airplane decals to use on the spare tire cover. After completing assembly but before inserting any windows, I sprayed the entire model with Pledge renew floor polish. That gives the model a nice shiny appearance. This model is rated at a five level but I didn’t find it that difficult. The instructions are very clear for the most part and it just takes a little time and patience. The final result, I thought, was a very nice model.

This is a quality kit and fun too! Accuracy is pretty good! It’s molded in semigloss white. I recommend priming all of the sprues and parts with a good sandable flat primer before painting, as the bare plastic doesn’t take paint too well. Take your time with the paint and you’ll have a great looking Bronco model to show for it. This kit gives you the option of putting in a roll bar, and building the motor as a either a 289 or the 302ci. Automatic is the only transmission option. Kit says the Bronco is bone-stock but this kit has dual shocks at all of the corners, which I don’t think was ever a factory option. I wish this kit came with optional door inserts so you could build a Bronco roadster or the parts to make your Bronco a half-cab, but it doesn’t (though there IS a company called Olson Brothers that sells these parts as well as a fender flare kit that fit this model perfectly- Google them!) All in all this is a great early Bronco kit that was WAY too long in the making! I love it and there’s great customizing potential with a little extra work/money.

Bought for my daughter. Easy to assemble. Detailing typical of a 1:24 scale model. What she didn’t know was I painted it in same colors as the 1958 Plymouth Fury “Christine” which is a favorite film/novel of mine and hers. She was very surprised.
