Came out nice, little tricky getting the masking tape inside the wing.

This kit is really impressive and has a lot of detailed parts. I think it’s more for experienced
modelers. This is the kind of kit that I will have multiplies of.

My sons 6th model kit. This is a kit for a bit more advanced young builder. My son is 14 and enjoyed the kit. It took him longer than he would have liked. But it teaches patience if done correctly. Encourage them as they build, it will help when building more advanced kits.

If you want the Le Mans race livery, this is the way to go. There are a couple aftermarket decal sheets available for other schemes.
Word of caution, make sure it the Revell of Germany issue. The decals are much better that the US edition. The US edition decals are off register and look like they have been printed by a dot matrix printer. I’ve seen the US version. Otherwise it’s the same kit. If you don’t intend to build the Le Mans version the point becomes moot.

Generally Revell is the best fitting, clear instructions, and most detailed decals. This model was the most difficult I have ever built. I wanted it to look just like the box photos. The challenge for me was the red white and blue paint scheme on a race car. Every part was otherwise carefully painted according to instructions. I took my time and used patience, patience, and more patience. The parts fit perfectly to instructions and in the end this car looks like I bought a metal model but I know it took me weeks of patience and every bit of my experience to build it right.

The painting of the exterior is a challenge since one of the pieces has to be taped off to provide the white and blue. The roll cage has a tricky part to bend in place and put together. I used model super glue to bond them. Looks a little like a welding job but it worked.
Engine is detailed
All parts went together well
Great model, not a beginner model though.

Overall the kit was fun and challenging, would prefer the revell germany kit as they usually come with better detail, decals, etc.

La calidad del plástico y el moldeo es la usual de Revell, no son demasiadas piezas como para complicar el ensamblaje, con un poco de dedicación se puede conseguir un modelo impresionante.

Fast shipping from the seller and generally a good kit. Typical Revell quality: no where near as good as Tamiya, but decent enough for a satisfying build. The followings are the reasons for a four-star rating instead of five. The decal sheet is a major disappointment in this re-boxed version. The decals are too thin to cover colours behind. Print quality is also shockingly bad for a kit released in the late 2010s. The instruction contains two full pages of part names which is a total waste of resources especially considering there are quite a few mistakes in the Instructions at places that really matter.

Building kit rite now so far parts fit well and directions clear. Knocked down one star for decals. Some r so small and dark they r invisible when applied on black surfaces of which there r plenty. The yellow seats r from another kit so disregard. If u like more challenging paint schemes u like this. Update on my review: model finished now. I had problems with proper fit of the body onto the frame even though I take care to scrape off paint and prefit parts. I couldn’t get it to sit all the way down onto frame. U can see it clearly in pics of passenger side and rear
