    The model arrived 3 weeks earlier than I expected. Although there was some minor damage to the box, the pieces for the kit were undamaged. The photo etch pieces are quite extensive and the detail is great. I look forward to starting the build soon and I expect the build to take 3 months or more. Minor flash on some parts and a couple of sink holes on the 1 piece hull. These should be no problem for an experienced kit builder . The photo etch instructions could be a clearer on the steps to bend the various pieces, but again this should not be a problem for an experienced builder.

    This was exactly what they described, real metal parts and because it was coming from Germany they gave me expected arrival date but I received over a week early, the detail is awesome

    Ich habe noch nie so einen schlechten Modellbausatz gesehen. Weder passen einige Bauteile vernünftig zusammen noch stimmt die Genauigkeit, wo hin genau die einzelnen Bauteile hingeklebt werden sollen. Die Metallteile sind so klein, dass man sie nicht einmal heil aus der Schablone bekommt geschweige denn sie so biegen und zusammenkleben zu können wie in der Anleitung beschrieben. Nach dem Zusammenbau sind einige Bauteile total schief dank der schlechten Passgenauigkeit. Für so viel Geld hätte ich etwas qualitativeres erwartet. Eigentlich wollte ich nur 0 Sterne geben,geht aber nicht…
    Ich habe schon viele Modellbauten hinter mir und kann deshalb hierzu sagen…

    GANZ KLAR KEINE KAUFEMPFEHLUNG!!!

    Whilst this kit is not quite up to the standard of the equivalent Tamiya release in terms of the plastic moulding quality, this re-release from Revell which includes a magnificent array of detailing items is far and away the better value kit. In the box, as well as the expected well moulded and flash free plastic kit parts you will find laser cut (and ultra thin) self-adhesive wooden decks, photo-etched brass and nickel components and turned brass gun barrels for both the main and secondary armament. The parts count rises from around 350 to 1350ish!!
    Additional instructions and colour guides are included to allow best use of the additional items, and for experienced modellers looking to produce a near museum quality completed model, this has got to be a ‘must-buy’ kit.
    Please note, glue and paints are NOT included so don’t expect them in the box!!

    This is an older kit that has been refreshed with a lot of extra ‘kit’. The original model was not as good as the Tamiya but the Revell added photo etch and wood decking that lift this model far beyond what would be otherwise achievable out of the box. It’s fantastic value.

    This model has lots of details and looks pretty good after assembly, my only mark against it was that some parts were warped and were difficult to fit them together. Outside of that if you enjoy model building, and have a couple of months to spend on it. Have fun.

    Buena maqueta pero los acabados un poco lastimosos de hecho la cubierta principal encaja bien en el casco pero el problema es que le falta material en la parte de popa y deja una holgura muy grande de 3 mm a cada lado….es bastante engorroso tendré que usar masilla o plástico para tapar ese boquete
