Good looking boat once completed. Not near enough detail or parts. Should be labeled level1 or2. Too easy

Bought as a gift for a teen who loves fishing. Don’t know how he liked it, but it seemed appropriate.

I normally build static aircraft models but decided to build this for my son. I really enjoyed the build even though I didn’t take much time or care with it. If you are into ship building, you can really make this one look good with a little detailing. It’s not difficult at all and makes a nice replica.

The original of this kit dates back to the early 1970’s. Don’t expect it to be the same standard as of today’s kits and have a high level of detail. There is a fair bit of flash on the parts that need to be cleaned up etc. Having said that the fit of the parts is quite good, and the model could, with some work, form the basis of a nicely detailed model. For the money, it’s a great value kit suitable for a beginner.

Much better kit than MPC kits. Note that European and Japanese kits are by far higher quality.

Never built a ship before, as this is an old kit it was cheap. It builds up well, bit fiddly, especially the rigging. It’s my first attempt at a seascape, great fun.

Bought for my elderly father and the plastic is bright red so it would be difficult for him to paint, I wouldn’t consider it value for money, he hasn’t even attempted it because of this

Very good accuracy in the model parts. Instructions were straightforward and accurate. It was fun to assemble and paint. I only for the rigging. wish you had included heavier string for the rigging. I had to use some of my prior string/rope to make a more stable.

The Revell North Sea Trawler easy to follow the instructions to make good details and value for money yes still got to painting to do yet should be fun I what it for a model railway layout it should look the part soon.
