   One of the worst models I’ve encountered. No guide pins Good luck with landing gear and even the propellers.

   I purchased this as a gift for my father who worked for the airlines his entire life. His first airplane flight was on a DC-6.
   He really loves this model.

   I cannot recommend this model. There are no guide pins, slots, tabs, or notches. None. Zip, nada, zero. I’ve been building models for over 50 years now and this is the very worst. Frankly, I would return this kit were it not for the fact that it is personally significant. This is the first airplane I ever flew on, and it was Delta from ATL to BHM. But if you’re going to build it, my suggestions are: (1) use some of that leftover tree or plastic stock we all have on our benches and make your own guides. (2) use the rapid set cement so that it will dry quickly. This is especially true for the smaller pieces. (3) have a large supply of rubber bands and clips hold things together. I hope it’s worth it.

   EDIT: Absolute garbage. After investing FAR more time than I should have over the past week, I tried putting the decals on today only to discover that they were cracked and came apart about every 1/2 inch or so. That’s it – I threw away this complete waste of my time and money. Maybe I can save someone else however, so DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK
