It took nearly a month for it to arrive but boy was it worth the wait. I have been using an old chunk of styrofoam for this job. I’ve stuck so many toothpicks and “corny dog” sticks with clips to hold small model car parts for airbrush painting in it, that it’s about to fall apart.
This little gadget works great. It’s simply a small metal box with a dozen cushioned alligator clips on a flexible wire with a magnet base. They stand up just fine on the work desk and really hang on tight when parked on the metal box top. When finished with the painting (or whatever task being performed) the holder clips are stowed away inside the box.

I have the old clip sticks with the base that has holes. But this thing is so much better! The magnets hold the stick with the part exactly where you put it on the metal box they come in. No tipping this way and that way. The sticks bend to whatever angle too, which has come in handy. I have a metal paint booth so these things will stick to where ever I put them in the booth. They are pretty awesome!

This is a very useful holder to have in your arsenal. I use it for scale model building, and being able to bend and move around the pieces allows for some very handy rigs. I use it to hold pieces in place while glueing, decaling, and painting. Very helpful holding tool. I also love how the base stores the arms. Get it, you won’t regret having this.

I love this item. the clips with the rubber coating hold the plastic in place also the magnets are strong enough to withstand most jobs. One con is that the surface of the case is kind of small I reckon I could just purchase a bigger metal plate or buy another set which I might end up doing for more alligator clips and space! Overall if you are okay with a smaller surface to hold the clip this is a good item!
