It’s a great kit. My box arrived a little squished and the front right pillar of the body was compromised. It was bent heavily to the point where it turned the grey plastic white. I managed to bend it back most of the way and continued with the build. I used Aoshima’s work meister 18s instead of the factory wheels. I loved this build. It’s also setup in a way where you can dry fit everything before painting and gluing. The headlight lenses required a lot of trimming to fit properly. There was little to no flash to trim. Definitely recommend.

It was an excellent kit with no fitting issues as you can expect
The only slight issue is that the mirrors were slightly difficult to put on the car

Really nice model kit I’ve been building AMT/Revell model kits for about a year and decided to try to a Tamiya kit for the first time I went all out crazy with this kit and cut parts of the car off and made a roof rack for it but for about a month of work this is what you can get it’s harder to lower than other kits and I wish they added extra wheels to choose from but other than that it was a great kit all the parts came painted so That took away lots of work with painting all the parts and gave me more time to work on the car itself but I painted the body a different shade of Gray with a little creativity and lots of work you can make something really neat with this kit

Very flimsy plastic, could’ve been a little better in quality. Did arrive pretty fast though I guess I’ll see how it turns out once it’s all put together.

This Supra was a bit tricky. It starts off fairly easy, but if you want to get the paint details right, you’ll be on it for days, masking, fixing inevitable mistakes and then sanding for bonding these parts. The result of hard work is an incredibly detailed model by Tamiya. From the 2Jz engine, the underbody details with almost everything being a separate part, the adjustable active front spoiler, to even the little “Supra” decals for the brake calipers. I can look at this beauty for hours.
As for special features goes, this model comes with both right-hand drive and left-hand drive consoles, optional hood scoop for the European version (drilling required), optional side markers for the American version and the active spoiler for the JDM version. License plates are either California license plates, the “Supra” legend, or Japanese plates. It is recommended that you use a hand drill for the rear wipers as there are no holes provided.
All in all, another amazing product from Tamiya. Materials are great, there is little to no flash and everything fits like legos. Take you time with this one. It is worth it!
