  1. Hawk eye

Having watched a video of a guy airbrushing with Testors enamel paint, I wanted to try it. Said individual used turpentine thinner for his paints, but as I simply wanted to try this, I bought this bottle instead.

I did try this thinner on some food safe “glazing” enamel paint and it didn’t work. Best used only on Testors brand paint!

With the right amount, this thinner worked great and I was able to airbrush a few colors from the set that I bought with this bottle. I’m glad I bought this bottle; The set I ordered came with a tiny bottle of thinner that I quickly used up completely.

I use the thinner not only for thinning the paint, but also for flushing residual paint from my airbrush’s cup before moving to airbrush cleaning fluid.

I will say that this small bottle still seems a little pricey, but for my intents and purposes it has worked very well, so that’s my only gripe here so far!

Winter is upon me here, so I’ll be packing up my airbrushing gear soon as my booth needs its exhaust duct pointed out an open window. Once it warms back up, I intend to resume airbrushing. If I just use enamel paint on occasion, I’ll stick with this thinner since I know it works so well. But if I end up using enamel paint often, I’m going to try turpentine thinner as it’s much cheaper!

Great for testors enamel paints. Easy to use.

  3. Juli Cyr

Exactly what I ordered exactly when I was supposed to get it

  4. Matthew Hathaway

Nothing really else to say about this besides that it worked out really well and cleaning. The paint brushes after I was done model making. If you need paint thinner get a bigger bottle of this stuff, it works like a charm.

  5. William Nunez

Does a really good job cleaning brushes. Help the paint I bought cover better.

  6. James M.
