A beautiful model kit. And a gorgeous ship. It reminds me of the spaceship Yamato.
The amount of details on this kit is great. Two helicopters and a drone copter make the ship feel full scale.
I did end up modding the interior though to show the deck under the helipad(would it still be considered a flight deck?).
I want to get another of these sets to make the Coronado.

If you take your time and are careful with the glueing, the end result is a great looking model of the Littoral combat ship made by Austal Ship Construction in Mobile, AL. The likeness is remarkable. Simply take your time – it will pay off at the end.

First of all, it arrived quickly and in perfect condition. As for the model – it is amazingly detailed, including a lot of parts that are made of brass-colored metal sheet (like air vent gratings, flight-deck tie-downs, etc.). Because of all the small details, this model will require a lot of patience, a steady hand, and a magnifying glass and tweezers! It will be worth the effort, however!

Nicely cast and an easy build!!

It looks good. I put in storage. Like many people.

it was a good model but I wish there had been more detail in the painting and also the decals fell apart when putting them on

Some of the worst instructions I have come across. They have you building a bunch of parts but do not indicate where they are to be installed. Tamiya and Revell have it hands down over these folks!

This being a Trumpeter kit, I was disappointed with some of the parts not fitting well or plain being over sized. Had to not just trim but modify some parts to get them to fit. I have been modelling for 40 years so I am not new to this.
