    This is my first experience with the Trumpeter model line, so I didn’t know what to expect. I’m astonished by the detail! If you are a museum-grade modeler (I’m not) this kit will build a museum grade model.
    The ship is as commisioned in 1964. I reported aboard in 1982. The guns were gone, replaced by missles and Phalanx gatling guns. The chaff launcher was added by 82 as well. Everything else is just as I remember. An excellent kit.
