This is the ship that started it all. Trumpeter brings you this excellent replica of the very first all big gunned warship. Molding id very good, as is the instructions. It builds up as a prime version of the early years of the Naval race. Recommend this kit as a great addition to any Naval collection!

HIGHLY detailed and complex. Not for beginners. The numerous photo-etched parts are nice but it’s even better to add the 1/700 wood deck. You will need to go online to get photos of completed models since the instructions on how to place the PE parts is very poor. I would also advise obtaining brass barrels since this kit was not made with the new “slide” casting that hollows them out. I just carefully drilled mine. The main armament is 12in.
