   I bought this kit because I have a veteran friend that was on the submarine! It’s the first kit of this model I found! the kit is clean and went together fast and easy! I would definitely buy from this vender again!!

   Why is it that these kits come from the Ukraine, and not from US model makers ? Add to that the fact that these kits are accurate and simply a joy to build, and you can see why I ask these questions. A superb model of the so- called production series nuclear sub, Skate and her sister boats fill an important gap in my collection of subs, and I have invested in getting the whole series as there are so many that are missing Allow me to add this MIcro-Mir also makes an impressive model of the Hunley More so because it is accurate. I highly recommend this series as a must for those who collect sub models.

   Arrived by mail in two days. Nice model of little known US early nuclear powered sub. Simple kit (1/350 scale) but had nice detail and photo etch deck. Fit was good.
