  1. Hugh Joiner

The instructions are not clear. You can’t see the decals on the decal sheet and the hull halves fit very poorly.
I’ve bought other kits similar to this one and had similar problems just not as severe. And while they have hard to find models… what’s the point if they look like poop?

  2. Greg Wight

Nice little kit. Don’t underestimate how challenging it is by its lack of parts. Will be a nice representation of this boat when completed.

    Quick delivery would use again

    Nice toy

MicroMir makes an interesting line of 1/350 scale submarine models. Most, if not all of these subs are not produced by anyone else in plastic in this scale. The kit has very nice detail and a small parts count. It is more of a limited run kit, so you won’t find locating pins or tabs and the sprue attachments are a little bigger than on some kits, but this will build into a nice kit with a little patience. If you want a Sturgeon, Thresher, Skipjack, Lafayette, George Washington, Skate or Nautilus along with some non-US subs, MicroMir is the only company providing these sub classes in plastic Thanks MicroMir!

Submarine was sent to my grandson who is on a Navy Base. He recently received it and hasn’t completed putting it together. However, he did say it met his expectations.

Sturgeon is not a stretch hull. Nice 637 model though. I have been waiting a long time for this one. Making it into a 675 boat would require cutting slice out of hull. Towed array fairing off actual installation line.

  8. Sharon

Arrived in timely manner. Will enjoy putting together!
