I was pretty disappointed to have no base or backdrop included. No where does it say that it needs to be purchased separate and the idea that it would be makes no sense. Why would I want glue on grass and scenery without the base? Disappointed to say the least.
After putting it together, it’s not the great. While it does look good, the spray glue was pretty much useless and the sticky bond was so sticky on my fingers but pieces of trees would keep falling off with time. The grass base started to pop up after a day or so. It does make a cool look but can’t say it lasts very long.

It’s ok, but how much bother would it have been to provide a plastic base to build the diarama on, pennies. They are shown on the cover image, but you dont get one. It would have been cheap to provide one.

Not only was this a second order(the first never made it) the glue is like rubber. Not usable. The rest of the kit was perfect.

Item works great for social studies Gettysburg’s battlefield. I took advice and bought my own glue and some tiny rocks. I had to help my 10 year old with the trees but other than that easy peasy. I bought a half priced, clearance, damaged box but all items inside were still packaged and intact. Happy with my purchase. My son will play with his Gettysburg’s diorama and plastic war figures even after his project is over.

Great kit and very informative guide

Detailed diorama, doesn’t include the base. Need a different bonding agent the glue was horrible when used to build the 3-D trees and bushes. It would be nice if something was provided to stabilize the trees.

Worth the money. This kit was a life saver. Its not finished but was so easy to put together. Really happy with it. Bought elephant and water separately. Also used dirt from planter. Love how the trees look.

I built a diorama in a clear plastic shoebox (purchased on Amazon). The materials were easy to work with and the directions easy to follow. I am an adult, though, and I believe that children would need to be supervised. Takes patience to wait for glue to dry and get trees to both hold the glue and hold the foliage. I had plenty of materials left over except for the base material which is rather stiff, but I was able to mold it over Styrofoam that I had used to create elevations.

I liked I just had a glue e wry thing down . My son had a STEMS diorama project on Native Americans. It looked pretty great.

Nice simple kit no base included but a scrap of plywood worked a treat. The instructions are clear with sufficient pictures to give you an idea what can be achieved. The picture shows a matchbox commer campervan to give you an idea of scale.

I wanted to customize the background of my gundam figure and was looking for diorama stuff and this is prefect for it. Came with all the stuff I needed and at a value. The instruction manual was pretty easy to read so that helped for a first timer like me.
