Not only does this kit include the blue shade I needed for a Navy Hellcat model I’ll be building, but it has several colors that will be great when used to replicate stone walls and rock formations where not every rock is the exact same color as the one next to it. Lends a lot more realism to your model. Vallejo is quickly turning into my go-to paint company! Note to newbs… You CAN use Model Color paints in your airbrush, just make sure you thin it basically like you would ANY paint you’re using in an A/B… get it to the consistency of milk and you should be good to go in most circumstances.

Colors matches very well. Since this is acrylic paint, it is very easy to clean up. No problem with tip drying so far. Vallejo’s remove before flight videos are also good when it comes to using their paint.

This is a great set for airbrushing WWII US Navy and Marine aircraft from all periods in the war. The airbrush colors included in this set are a great match for standard AN paint colors of the period. There is even a paint scheme guide for several airplanes on the back of the box!
